  Biography of Chairman of the Committee

Phra Boonyarit Hongprasat was born on January 24, 1937 in Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. He is the son of Mr. Kling and Mrs. Hong Hongprasat (both of them already passed away)

-He was ordained in 1957 at Wat Suwanbunphot, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

Education

-Graduated in primary school from Choomchon Ban Bangnod School, Khanom District, Nokhon Si Thammarat Province

-Graduated in secondary school from Tsuen Wan English College in Hong Kong

-Graduated in Bachelor Degree on Business Administration from University of Manila, the Philippines

-Graduated in Master of Public Administration from University of Manila, the Philippines

-Graduated in Master of Arts on Political Science from University of Manila, the Philippines

Accomplishment

-Selected by University of Manila as the outstanding student on International Relationship during the study.

-In 1976, Phra Boonyarit has established study center for Buddhism and Christianity at University of Manila, the Philippines

-In 1981, he has built 10-bed patient building for Khanom District Hospital, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

-In 1982, he initiated the establishing of Moonnithi Pracha Ruamchai (People Unity Foundation) in Khanom District, Nokhon Si Thammarat Province

-In 1986, he was selected from Department of Corrections of Hong Kong as the counselor to prisoners in various prisons in Hong Kong for more than 10 consecutive years.

At present           

-Chairman of the committee of Moonnithi Pracha Ruamchai, the public charity organization.

-Appointed as the Chairman of the League of Foundations  of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province By The League of Foundations of Thailand under the Royal Patronage.

-Has been performing religious duties in many countries since 1963 until now.

-Bringing foreigners, both men and women to be ordained in Thailand in which has developed good relationship among religions in Thailand and foreign countries.
